Last week we had the opportunity to meet supporters here in Fort Worth's Southside at my favorite restaurant, Chadra Mezza and Grill. Christina and Nehme Elbitar are some of the most caring and giving people that I have had the opportunity to know. I am grateful for their support, and for hosting us.
I also had the opportunity to spend some time with candidates Jacinto Ramos Jr. who is running for the District 1 seat, and Matthew Avila who is running unopposed for the District 8 seat being vacated by JR Martinez who was filling in for a partial term. Both gentlemen have been great to get to know. Jacinto is a Community Coordinator for the Juvinile Probation Department, and Matthew is the named CEO of Thomas S Byrne Construction.
It was a wonderful event, and everyone seemed to have a great time. Thank you for coming out to join us. Also, I could not wrap up this post without thanking our wonderful volunteers who assisted with this evening. I would like to thank our hosts Libby Manning, Jill Black, Lauren Doren, and Sasha Camacho from Citizens for Great Schools. Also Sean Lynch my campaign manager, Richard and Chandra Riccetti who helped rangle my children, and Stacy and Eric Luecker who took the photos of the event.
