The following press release is from Council of the Great City Schools Executive Director Michael Casserly.  According to FWISD CFO Elsie Schiro at a March 7 budget workshop, the district stands to lose between 9-12 million in federal funding.  That estimate was before the president's budget priorities were released.  I look forward to learning what the impact would be under this proposal.
